The exploit of the week in the Swg poll on the voting intentions of Italians in the next policies is signed by Giorgia Meloni, who breaks through the wall of 19% and is firmly in third place in the ranking. Lega, Pd, Fratelli d’Italia grow, while the M5S loses 0.8 percent. In general, all the other parties are advancing in small steps, from Action to Forza Italia, to the Italian Left and to Mdp-Article 1. These are the results of the survey carried out from 5 to 10 May with the Cati-Cami-Cawi method on a national representative sample of 1,200 adults.
League always in the lead, Pd in recovery
If we went to the political elections, the League would be the first party at 21.3%, slightly up – 0.4% – compared to the May 3 survey, when it was at 20.9%. Down by thirteen points compared to the result of the 2019 European Championships, when it was 34.3 percent. The rise of Fratelli d’Italia continues, firmly in third place in the ranking, which breaks through the wall of 19%, rising to 19.1%, 0.4% more than the survey of May 3. A remarkable result considering that Giorgia Meloni’s party at the 2019 European Championships was 6.6 percent. The Five Star Movement falls to 17%, losing 0.8% compared to the previous survey of May 3.
