The Municipality makes 103 thousand euros available to support the expenses of the elderly, the disabled, women and school and health workers
BELLUNO. The “Travel voucher” arrives: 103 thousand euros to support the transport costs of the most exposed categories, but also for school workers and health personnel for the journey from home to work.
The Municipality of Belluno has communicated that it intends to support the use of the taxi service and vehicle rental with driver, within the limits of the capacity of the funds made available by the Ristori decree, by specific categories of subjects, simultaneously facing the current epidemiological emergency and distributing the users of the public transport service as much as possible. “The announcement will be published shortly on the official channels of the Municipality”, explains the councilor for social policies, Lucia Pellegrini, “being a new tool it is not possible to estimate how many users we will reach, but we have tried to set the most suitable access parameters. as large as possible, so as to allow a larger audience to access the bonus ».
WHO CAN REQUEST IT
In fact, to be entitled to request travel vouchers, it is necessary, on the date of publication of the notice, to fall into one or more of the categories indicated in the notice of the Municipality. Specifically, it speaks of over 65 years of age; physically impaired or certified reduced mobility persons; disabled; holders of “blue coupons” for the disabled; parents, guardians, support administrators of a minor with a proven disability; women who need to move between 18 and 6 in the morning; pregnant women; school staff for the journey home / work or vice versa and health and social health personnel operating in public or affiliated structures.
HOW MUCH THE GOOD IS WORTH
The travel voucher that will be recognized will be equal to 50% of the expense incurred and, in any case, not exceeding 20 euros for each trip, to be used for transfers to be made by taxi or driver hire. Access to the grant depends on the available economic resources (equal to 103,739.98 euros). The resources will be assigned according to the chronological order of the request, referring to the time in which they will have been completed. The travel voucher will indicate the deadline by which it can be used. In no case the travel voucher, if used for an amount lower than the maximum foreseen or if not used, will give the right to change or refund. Basically, vouchers for a total value of more than 500 euros can be assigned to each beneficiary, but this ceiling can be raised to 1000 euros upon a motivated request for integration by the user.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications must be sent to the Municipality by 31 December of this year through the solidali.welfareX platform of the CGMovin company (the direct link will be published on the Municipality website): “It is the platform we already use for food vouchers and it works”, underlines the commissioner Pellegrini. Each beneficiary will be assigned a virtual bag identifiable with a QR code, which must be presented (printed or in digital form) to the taxi driver or renter with driver for the registration of the ride and the calculation of the amount of the travel voucher. Taxis and rentals with authorized drivers will be identifiable by an identification symbol visibly affixed to the vehicle.
