«Once there were three edible shops and a consumer cooperative – recalls the mayor Guido Bellardo Gioli -. There were many more resident people, many families, many children. Shopping at the shops was always a special moment, the areas in front of the shop were places for conversation, for exchanging news, for local news, for gossip, and for socializing. Small purchases of basic necessities were made: a kilo of bread, two hectograms of sugar, half a hectogram of coffee beans in blue sugar paper, two hectograms of rice, a hectogram of salami cooked in yellow paper-straw ».
«Apparently distant past times – observes the mayor -. The shops and the cooperative have gone “out of stock”, the many children, now grown up, have migrated downstream, the elderly are in the RSA or they are no longer there and, thus, the remaining are few. Many Ribordonesi, however, return from weekly, occasional or seasonal commuters. Now residents, commuters and tourists have a shop at their disposal again thanks to a stubborn and dynamic young entrepreneur ».

The entrepreneur is called Luciano Grisolano and it is the same who manages The Wolf bar – restaurant.
