Tax delegation bill: ok from the Chamber with 322 yes, passes to the Senate: from the land registry to anti-evasion data

The Chamber of the Chamber approved the proxy bill for the tax reform with 322 votes in favor, 43 against, and 5 abstentions. Among these are the deputies of the Leu group, which thus confirmed what had been announced in the Finance Committee, where differences of position had emerged with the rest of the majority with respect, among other things, to the flat tax and dual taxation (which ‘from the delegation). Simplification and digitalization of obligations (avoiding asking taxpayers for information already in the possession of the administration), revision of the land registry but without direct tax effects, fiscal cashback on healthcare expenses directly in the current account, gradual overcoming of the flat tax and Irap, are only some of the issues that the Government will have to address in implementing legislative decrees, within eighteen months from the entry into force of the enabling law. The measure, launched by Palazzo Chigi last October and dismissed by Montecitorio after months of confrontation and tensions within the government coalition, is being examined by the Senate.
