Whether the third season of “Ted Lasso” really meant the final whistle for the football comedy is currently making fans crazy. The proverbial fire in the blazing rumor mill is now also being tipped over by Nathan actor Nick Mohammed with a cryptic post on social media.
At the end of May, the supposed series finale of the football comedy starring Jason Sudeikis took place with the third season finale of “Ted Lasso”. Apple TV+ and Nathan actor Nick Mohammed are now playing on fans’ feelings, however, as when asked about a picture of his character plus co-workers with the words “Smells like potential,” the actor responded with a zipper-mouth emoji as if he had to keep a secret that we are not allowed to know yet… Is there still a season or even a series spin-off in it? Or is it all just social media fun?
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of season three, Mohammed said, “I feel like the writers were really open at first and said they had a three-season arc in their heads. But that doesn’t mean it has to come to an end. There’s no reason why it couldn’t go on. So we’ll see.
