Territorial pacts of the Canavese, 8 viability projects presented

From the Romano roundabout to the Quincinetto bridge, Ivrea aims to strengthen the Suap. Opportunities for investments by companies with non-repayable grants

IVREA. There are 8 road network projects presented as part of the Canavese territorial pacts of which Ivrea is the leader (119 municipalities). The Ivrea administration has preferred to take a step back on this front, focusing on funds on the enhancement of Suap services (one-stop shop for productive activities) aimed at digitizing and redeveloping the headquarters with the purchase of furniture and IT equipment aimed at improving of the service with a view to economic, environmental and social sustainability. The project provides for an overall economic framework of 30 thousand euros, of which 3,000 will be co-financed by the city of Ivrea. «Our road network projects require important financial commitments – explains Deputy Mayor Elisabetta Piccoli -. We are talking about the Peduncolo and the Montenavale Tunnel. We have therefore decided to give way to those Municipalities with ready-made projects useful for the territory. Among these I recall that of the Romano Canavese roundabout, very important for the future Italvolt plant in Scarmagno ».

The infrastructure projects (90% financed) collected by the Municipality of Ivrea concern 9 administrations. Chivasso the completion of the former Lancia area with the adaptation of the road section of the provincial road 81 in order to create a lane for each direction of travel is proposed. Cuorgnè instead it put forward a project concerning the second lot for the redevelopment of urban spaces for public use in the historic core. Favria aims at the creation of a road link to the Sp 35 for access to the hot stamping pole and related ancillary works. Quincinetto has chosen the project for the adaptation of the road section of provincial road 69, Banchette-Quincinetto, from the border of the municipality to state road 26 with the installation of a detection and control system for the transit of heavy vehicles on the bridge. Romano calls for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection between provincial road 8 and state road 26, at the Chiusella bridge. The Municipalities of San Giusto e Foglizzo they point to the connection between provincial roads 40 of San Giusto and 82 of Montalenghe, variant of the town of Foglizzo. Val di Chy presented a project for the enhancement and development of the Alice Lake naturalistic area. In the end, Volpiano aims at completing the road section of via Venezia.

That of the Territorial Pacts (10 million euros) also represents a great opportunity for local companies. For companies there is the possibility of having coverage of up to 20% of the total investment with a grant. There is time until January 19 to present projects and on this the employers’ associations are urging their members to come forward. In particular, those projects that promote digitalization and process and organizational innovation, or the offer of new products and services by individual companies, will be financed, favoring the creation of production chains and forms of collaboration between companies, with particular attention to the improvement, strengthening and innovation of the processes associated with logistics, management, procurement and distribution of goods.

Micro and small enterprises in tourism, commerce, services, industry and crafts will be able to have a non-repayable contribution of 20% against a minimum investment of 25 thousand euros (maximum contribution payable 400 thousand euros). For medium-sized enterprises, the non-repayable contribution will be 10% against a minimum investment of 50 thousand euros (maximum contribution payable 400 thousand euros).

For small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises, on the other hand, the grant will be 40% with a minimum investment of 25 thousand euros and a maximum contribution of 400 thousand. Investments may relate to the purchase of property, masonry, machinery and equipment. As regards agricultural holdings, investment projects in the primary agricultural production sector and in the processing and marketing of products are eligible for financing.
