The absence of Dr. Marco Biscaro has alarmed the patients, stunned by the fact that the professional is not vaccinated against Covid: the information note of the health company is posted on the door of the clinic.

The comments come from the Regional Health Committee. “We respect the choice of not vaccinating the doctor of Sacile – says Cesare Monea, activist of the Committee -, but we do not agree with those who do not get vaccinated. The problem is the health of others and, in this case, of 1,300 patients left without a stable point of reference ».
Monea asks for solutions. “We ask the health authority and the Western District for maximum transparency on the case of the unvaccinated doctor. Will your patients be distributed among other general practitioners? Or will there be a 24-hour emergency medical service for these 1,300 users in Sacile? ».
Answers expected in days. «The mayors of the Livenza-Cansiglio-Cavallo social and health sector intervene – urges Monea -. Healthcare in Sacile must be strengthened for 64,000 users, starting with the emergency room and other health services at risk of transfer and closure ».
Doctors are understaffed in Sacile: Doctor Michele Zagaria voluntarily resigned in July and the number of vacancies in the city rose to three. «Over the next two years – Dr. Placido Fundarò assesses – the retirement of three other general practitioners is expected.
