Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Achieves Significant Progress in Coordinated Development

Since the implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, the three places have worked closely together to achieve high-quality development. Over the past decade, the overall strength of the region has improved significantly, with major breakthroughs in collaborative innovation, improved ecological environment, and enhanced sense of well-being for the residents.

The transportation sector has been a key focus in this millennium plan, with the formation of the main framework of “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on Rail”. The 1-hour traffic circle in the core area and the 1.5-hour traffic circle between adjacent cities have been established, creating a comprehensive transportation network. The integration of development space is now turning into city integration in terms of time.

Looking ahead, Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei will continue to implement the regional coordinated development strategy to create a pioneer area for Chinese-style modernization and contribute to the country’s high-quality development. The collaboration between these three regions is set to bring further economic growth and prosperity.
