On August 28th, the National Games Village of the 14th National Games ushered in the first batch of athletes to move in. A total of 501 people from 20 sports teams in synchronized swimming and handball have officially moved into the National Games Village Athletes Village (including 10 synchronized swimming teams with 152 people and 10 handball teams with 349 people). After a series of preliminary tests, the National Games Village is ready to enter the “National Games Mode”.
The National Games Village is located in Xi’an International Port District, with a total area of 680 acres and a construction area of about 910,000 square meters. It uses 55 buildings and 2975 suites during the game, which can provide accommodation, catering, commerce, medical care, and transportation for residents. It will become the “Xi’an Home” for National Games guests such as athletes, technical officials and media reporters.
At present, all guarantee work in the National Games Village has been completed. The athlete’s restaurant is equipped with isolation baffles according to the seats. It is divided into four dining areas: hot dish area, cold dish baking area, beverage area and bright stall area. The hot dish area contains eight major Chinese cuisines. Shaanxi specialty snacks such as noodles and simmered noodles are freshly made. In addition, the restaurant also has a dining area with different flavors such as Western food.
During the opening of the village, the restaurant will continue to serve meals from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with more than 100 varieties of meals for each meal a day, and will spare no effort to provide services for the sports teams.
