The 18th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit concluded in Nanning, Guangxi this afternoon (13th). Taking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN as an opportunity, the China-ASEAN Expo held a series of exchange activities. Online and offline exhibitors actively participated in the exhibition, which promoted the signing of a large number of projects.

This year’s China-ASEAN Expo will take the form of “physical exhibition + China-ASEAN Expo” combined with online and offline exhibitions. The total number of booths was 5,400, of which 905 were foreign booths, including 575 from ASEAN, an increase of 13.4% over the previous session. A total of 148 online and offline economic and trade events were held. As of noon on September 13, the “East Cloud Expo” had more than 1.14 billion exposures on the entire network and more than 21.56 million visits on the site. Each matchmaking event facilitated 3,200 accurate matchings for domestic and foreign merchants, realizing the precise matchmaking of “face-to-face” and “screen-to-screen”.

Wang Lei, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Expo: The RCEP exhibition area was set up for the first time. 179 international and domestic cooperation projects were signed, with a total investment of over 300 billion yuan, an increase of 13.7% over the previous session. The total investment of the contracted projects hit the highest ever.

In addition to economic and trade activities, a total of 26 high-level forums were held under the framework of this year’s China-ASEAN Expo, 17 of which were held during the conference, covering RCEP, industrial chain, production capacity, customs, health and other fields. Issued the “Nanning Initiative on Jointly Promoting the Accelerated Implementation of RCEP”, “China-ASEAN Trade Index”, “China-ASEAN Agricultural Cooperation Memorial Album”, etc.; promoted the establishment of a number of cooperation platforms, such as: China-ASEAN Technology Trading Platform , China-ASEAN Cross-Border Financial Service Center, etc.

Wang Lei, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Expo: (This China-ASEAN Expo) has promoted the joint construction of new land-sea corridors to achieve new results, service RCEP cooperation has taken new steps, and service dual-cycle new development pattern has made new progress. Brunei Guangxi General Chamber of Commerce and many other institutions settled in the China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Center. The Pakistan Exhibition Hall officially settled in the China-ASEAN Special Commodity Center.
