The municipal council of Auronzo has convened a meeting in the town hall with the stakeholders of the Tre Cime road (activity managers, Cai, law enforcement agencies, Cooperativa Cadore which manages the toll booth service) to take stock of the critical issues that emerged during the summer season with the installation of the new toll booth by the Cityware company.
AURONZO. Today the Auronzo Refuge closes, the only one left open at the foot of the Three Peaks, but hikers will continue to climb. The access road, in fact, remains open, albeit at reduced hours, from 8 to 18. Yesterday and Saturday the parking lots near the Auronzo were filled as in August; the days, in truth, invited at high altitude. There were many foreigners; the French also arrived who traditionally preferred the Western Alps.
