The black feathers of Friuli in Rimini for the National Gathering of the Alpine troops: the images

RIMINI. From Friuli to Romagna, in a parade of black feathers that not even bad weather has discouraged. The Alpine troops who left our region reached Rimini where this year the 93rd national meeting of the Alpine troops is held, the most awaited date in two years, after the postponement due to the pandemic.

In the presence of the authorities, at 9 o’clock the flag was raised on the flagpole in front of the Town Hall in a square crowded with onlookers and Alpine with the hat of order.

In camouflage the Alpini in arms. The honors were paid to the Ana banner decorated with 216 gold medals, which was followed by the national councilors. The Mameli hymn accompanied the raising of the flag.

From the solemn flag-raising ceremony in Piazza Cavour in Rimini, to the deposition of the crowns at the war memorial in Piazza Ferrari: many of the groups found themselves traveling to Emilia-Romagna. Here they are in some shots
