This year plastic has ended up in the spotlight of students, and over the years it has become a serious problem for the environment. “Enough plastic”, the boys from Castion shout in their video, coordinated by professors Cavalet, Fontanella, Gazzi and Quaranta. In the colorful outdoor area of the school, the boys with their faces covered by a bag, take turns rhythm the evolution of plastic in our lives and the damage it is responsible for if dispersed in the environment: “The Earth is beautiful, the Earth is delicate , no more envelopes around the salad », they shout in chorus. After convincing the jury of the award, the class will now receive a cash prize offered by the association and teaching materials offered by Veneto Agricoltura.
The second place went to the 3rd C of the “Fogazzaro” comprehensive school in Noventa Vicentina, the third to the 2nd B of the Conegliano 3 comprehensive school.
The naturalistic association “G. Lorenzoni ”, in collaboration with Veneto Agriculture, has been organizing this initiative for some years now aimed at lower secondary schools in the Triveneto area. The goal is to sensitize the new generations to issues such as biodiversity, nature protection, climate change and good practices in the use of resources to protect the environment.
In recent years, the commitment of the children, coordinated by passionate teachers, has led to the creation of interesting, creative and effective works in language and graphics, demonstrating how young people are attentive and sensitive and at the forefront of the issues that concern the environmentf. r.
