The bulletin, in Fvg 1,601 new infections and 4 deaths. The positives in the region are 34,484

UDINE. Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia on 3,798 molecular swabs 667 new infections have been detected, with a positive percentage of 17.56%. There are also 7,322 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 934 cases (12.76%) were detected. There are a total of 1601 cases. There are 41 people admitted to intensive care, while 354 patients are hospitalized in other departments.

This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.

As regards the trend of the spread of the virus among the population, the age group most affected is 0-19 years (20.99%), followed equally by 40-49 and 50-59 (17.99 %), from 20-29 (15.18%) and from 30-39 (14.49%). The positive cases today are given for 50.72% by males and 49.28% by females.

Today the deaths of 4 people are recorded: a 91-year-old woman from Gemona del Friuli (who died in hospital), an 84-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), an 83-year-old woman from Pordenone (who died in hospital ) and finally a 67-year-old woman from Monfalcone (who died in hospital).

Overall deaths amounted to 4286, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,038 in Trieste, 2,097 in Udine, 794 in Pordenone and 357 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 143,411, the clinically healed 579, while the people in isolation are 34,484.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 183,155 people have been positive with the following territorial subdivision: 43,391 in Trieste, 76,094 in Udine, 39,815 in Pordenone, 21,094 in Gorizia and 2,761 from outside the region. The total of positives was reduced by three units following two negative molecular swabs after positive antigen test (2 in the province of Pn) and following 1 positive test removed after case review (province of Ud).

As far as the regional health system is concerned, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina university health care unit 6 nurses, 1 socio-health worker, 2 radiology technicians; in the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Company 2 administrators, 1 specialized auxiliary, 6 nurses, 4 doctors, 4 social health workers, 1 midwife, 3 technicians; 3 nurses, 1 socio-health worker in the Western Friuli health authority; in the maternal and child Irccs Burlo Garofolo 1 nurse, 1 doctor, 1 social health worker.

With regard to residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, six guests (Latisana, Trieste, Rivignano and Pordenone) and six operators (Udine, Azzano Decimo, Pordenone, Cordenons, Pasiano di Pordenone and Moggio Udinese) were infected.
