TREVISO. On the one hand, a construction company. On the other, a communication agency. Intertwining its streets, a sui generis cultural product, designed to tell the family story in a new way behind one of the flagships of the Treviso entrepreneurial fabric.

Carron and Ideeuropee together for “Carron – Codice d’Angelo”, the short film written and directed by the Vicenza director Giancarlo Marinelli. Twenty-seven minutes of original screenplay on a fictional story, interspersed with anecdotes and flashbacks caught in the memories of the five children of Angelo Carron, owner of the company, who through the film pay homage to their father on the twentieth anniversary of his death.

Previewed on the big screen in the spaces of the Veneto Region-Veneto Film Commission in the context of the 78th Venice International Film Festival, the film is presented for the first time at the Cinema Corso in Treviso and from Thursday evening it is available on the channel Ideasuropee’s YouTube, who is executive producer of the film.

Not the classic biography, but a plot that travels on the thread of an enigma to be solved, a knot woven around private vicissitudes and others concerning the Treviso construction company, held together by the same values.

An out of the ordinary work of art, starring actors of the caliber of Sebastiano Somma, in the role of Angelo Carron, and Anna Galiena, in the role of his wife Graziella. And then in the cast also Francesca Valtorta, Matteo Cremon, Fabio Sartor, Giulia Pelliciari, Anna Zago, Claudia Donin, Martina Baraldo.

San Zenone degli Ezzelini (headquarters of the Carron company) and Mogliano Veneto, the places where the filming was shot.

Thus the director Giancarlo Marinelli: «Angelo recommended to his children:“ Don’t expand too much ”. Carron has expanded, and how. While making this film, I thought about what would have happened if the father had said, on the contrary: “Spread as much as possible”. What is the effect? Maybe the company would have shrunk? The impression is that the father and the entrepreneur had understood and foreseen everything. Angelo Carron has even managed to conceive his absence as a building site in perpetual movement in the soul and memory of his children. He was able to take his death and make it the life project for those who remain. Immortality of Angel. In a Code ».

«Twenty years have passed since the premature death of our father: a sudden absence – the words of Arianna Carron – which inevitably marked our lives as children and entrepreneurs. Alongside the void that has been created and that day after day is linked to the most personal memories, what he left us is a great lesson of life that has never been as relevant today as it is today. Move forward together having an ethical vision of living and working, shared and synergistic. Never forget the strength and the good fortune of being a family and at the same time a family business, with that link to the territory from which everything was born. A lesson that we are happy and honored to be able to pay homage with this short film ».

“Companies are full of stories and their essence is neither the products nor the services provided, but the people and their existence, their values, efforts and sacrifices” commented Piergiorgio Paladin, executive producer of the film and owner of the Treviso Ideeuropee integrated communication agency. Paladin again: «Cinema and the sensitivity of masters like Marinelli are the perfect vehicle to tell and pass on the essence of businesses. We thank Carron Spa for allowing us to test ourselves in the world of film production, a wonderful opportunity that arrived on our twentieth anniversary ».
