[Voice of Hope, April 2, 2022](Comprehensive report by our reporter Han Mei)

Observers judged based on the CCP Central Commission for Discipline Inspection’s double-opening notification to Fu Zhenghua that Xi Jinping was ready to launch a counterattack against Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong.

On March 31, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China issued a double-opening notice to the former Minister of Justice of the Communist Party of China, Fu Zhenghua. Among them, Fu Zhenghua’s charge of “participating in Sun Lijun’s political gang” is quite interesting.

The Times commentator Yokogawa published a column on April 1 saying that Fu Zhenghua, a senior thug who sits in an important position in the CCP dictatorship machine, was actually disloyal to Xi Jinping, but went to rely on his subordinate Sun Lijun. Is he crazy?

Yokogawa believes that the most reasonable explanation is that Sun Lijun was given a special task to recruit personnel for a specific power group or faction, and Fu Zhenghua did not actually rely on Sun Lijun, but the forces behind Sun Lijun.

After analyzing the political map of the CCP after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Yokogawa said that only the Jiang faction is possible, and Xi Jinping’s publicity of Fu Zhenghua’s crime at this juncture should be his move to shock his opponents before the 20th National Congress, “Fu Zhenghua and Sun Lijun are all cruel officials, not political leaders.

Times commentator Qin Peng posted an analysis in The Epoch Times, saying that from Fu Zhenghua’s double-opening bulletin, Xi Jiang’s decisive battle is coming. From Xi Jinping’s point of view, the 19th National Congress and Jiang Zeng compromised to consolidate his power by protecting the party. Once Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong are arrested, it will involve liquidation and the CCP system will collapse. However, with the consolidation of Xi’s power, it is inevitable to continue to crack down on the Jiang Zeng faction that has deeply rooted in the CCP’s political arena. At the same time, Jiang Zeng has always opposed The persecution of Falun Gong, live organ harvesting and other crimes are frightening, so they are unwilling to give up power completely, so the contradiction between the two sides cannot be reconciled at all.

Qin Peng said that now two factors have contributed to the final decisive battle between the two sides. First, Xi Jinping made successive mistakes in domestic and foreign affairs, which led to problems in economic, political and international relations, which created an opportunity for the Jiang faction to counterattack; second, The forces supported by Zeng Qinghong will fully retire around the 20th National Congress, and the 20th National Congress has become Zeng Qinghong’s last chance.

The CCP’s state media’s recent campaign seems to have confirmed the judgment of the above-mentioned observers.

On March 29, the CCP’s “Xinhuanet” reposted an article from “Economic Daily” titled “The Communist Party of China must persist in self-revolution for a long time.” The article was subsequently forwarded by important party media such as Qiushi.com and People’s Daily Online. On the 30th, the CCP’s “Liberation Army Daily” published an article entitled “Show Self-Revolution as the Greatest Advantage”. On the 31st, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and State Supervision Commission published an article, “How to Adhere to Self-Revolution to Promote Standardization, Legalization, and Regularization”.

These mouthpiece articles emphasize “self-revolution,” a term that, in the CCP’s discourse system, means starting to eliminate political enemies.

Wu Guoguang, a professor of politics and history at the University of Victoria in Canada, was a member of the think tank of Zhao Ziyang, the former general secretary of the Communist Party of China.

In an interview with “Lin Lan Dialogue” earlier, he analyzed the anti-Xi long article “Objective Evaluation of Xi Jinping” and said that until now, Xi Jinping has not taken any truly weighty counterattacks, “It is Xi who is indeed Do you still have a considerable sense of security and the patience to continue to wait? Or is Xi really saying that there is not that much power to fight back now?”

Wu Guoguang said that he thinks that Xi Jinping may have to wait for the end of the National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China to act, because “during the two sessions, there may be a situation that is more ‘peaceful’… After these things are over, it will be up to Xi Jinping There is no such counter-attack power. I feel that in my personal judgment, these articles may only prompt Xi to take a bigger hand, and the next step may be Xi’s efforts to purge the party, which may increase the weight.”

Now it seems that Professor Wu Guoguang’s prediction has begun to be fulfilled.
