After Zhou Yongkang stepped down, the Political and Legal Committee continued to be purged

Ever since Zhou Yongkang, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Committee, was investigated and sentenced in 2014, the political and legal system has been continuously purged and reorganized.

On the 1st of this month, the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China once again mentioned at the second batch of rectification meeting that it is necessary to “completely eliminate the poisonous influence of Zhou Yongkang, Meng Hongwei and Sun Lijun” and eliminate political hidden dangers. This is the sixth time this year that the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China has mentioned that Zhou Yongkang and others will be eliminated.

According to the Chinese Communist Party’s official media, Zhou Yongkang once governed millions of public security, security, judicial, courts, and procuratorates in China. During his time in power, a large number of corruption phenomena and cases in the public security judicial system were all related to Zhou Yongkang’s large-scale corruption transactions.

Independent writer Zhuge Mingyang stated that China’s legal system was completely destroyed, and it was precisely from this that the persecution of Falun Gong began.

In July 1999, the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party Jiang Zemin initiated an illegal persecution of Falun Gong faith groups. And Zhou Yongkang has been trying his best to cooperate with Jiang Zemin’s instructions. During his tenure in the Political and Legal Committee, through the Political and Legal Committee and the “610” Office (a full-time institution that persecutes Falun Gong, the supervisor is usually the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Communist Party of China). Of persecution.

According to the statistics of the International Organization for Tracing the Persecution of Falun Gong, from December 9, 2004 to July 1, 2021, the Tracing International released a list of 14 batches of units and individuals responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong, with a total of 26,843 units responsible for the investigation. , 91,893 persons in charge. Among them, there are 11,737 people in the “610” system and 16,106 people in the Politics and Law Commission system.

Senior current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan said in an interview with The Epoch Times recently that the purge of officials in the political and legal system of the Chinese Communist Party is in response to the saying that evil is repaid in the past. “They are selling their lives for the CCP and helping the CCP do evil. In particular, the grassroots political and legal officials are almost the backbone of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, human rights defenders, and dissidents. Once international and domestic sanctions and opposition become louder, the CCP immediately regards them as the culprits. Introduce the crime of topping off. The CCP system is a meat grinder. Anyone who falls into it will be a victim sooner or later, and no one will be an exception.”@
