[Epoch Times September 10, 2021](Epoch Times reporter Zhang Wan comprehensive report) The CCP’s political and legal system education and rectification campaign has recently entered the second stage, targeting the central and provincial public prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.
On September 4, the High Prosecutors of the Communist Party of China convened a meeting, requesting to carry out the “education and rectification of the procuratorial team.” Three days ago, officials from the Ministry of Public Security, the National Immigration Administration and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection jointly convened a meeting to study and promote the education and rectification of the second batch of public security teams.
On the 16th of last month, the Political and Legal Committee of the Communist Party of China has held the second batch of “political and legal team education and rectification” deployment meeting, announcing that the second phase of rectification will be the central and provincial political and legal agencies and party and government agencies. According to the advancement plan released by the authorities, the second batch of inventory operations lasted from mid-August to mid-November and lasted three months.
The CCP’s “Education and Rectification of Political and Legal Teams” will begin in July 2020. Pilots will be launched in the public security procuratorial units of cities and counties in some regions. Participating units include Harbin and Hulan District in Heilongjiang Province, Xuzhou and Yunlong District in Jiangsu Province, and Sanmenxia in Henan Province. A total of 35 public prosecutors and law enforcement agencies in the city and Lingbao City, Yibin City and Gongxian County in Sichuan Province, Baoji City in Shaanxi Province, and Hulan Prison and Songbin Prison participated in the pilot.
According to the results announced by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, as of November 30, 2020, the pilot area had handled a total of 2,247 people, including 2 bureau-level cadres and 227 division-level cadres; 448 cases were filed for review; 39 people were transferred to judicial organs.
In March of this year, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that the political and legal teams will be cleaned up and rectified from the bottom up. The operation was carried out in two batches. The first batch was launched from February to June. The targets were the political and legal committees, political and legal units of the city and county party committees, as well as provincial prisons and drug rehabilitation centers; the second batch was launched from August to the end of October. It is the Central Political and Legal Committee and the political and legal unit, and the provincial party committee political and legal committee and the political and legal unit.
At the second mobilization meeting for rectification actions on August 16, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection requested an inventory of “dual-faced people” who are not loyal to the party and a thorough investigation of the “relationship network” and “protective umbrella” of the evil forces in the political and legal system. It was also announced at the meeting that in the first batch of rectification operations, a total of 20,000 officials and police from the political and legal system voluntarily surrendered, over 49,000 cases were filed for review, and more than 178,000 people were punished.
After Zhou Yongkang stepped down, the Political and Legal Committee continued to be purged
Ever since Zhou Yongkang, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Committee, was investigated and sentenced in 2014, the political and legal system has been continuously purged and reorganized.
On the 1st of this month, the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China once again mentioned at the second batch of rectification meeting that it is necessary to “completely eliminate the poisonous influence of Zhou Yongkang, Meng Hongwei and Sun Lijun” and eliminate political hidden dangers. This is the sixth time this year that the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China has mentioned that Zhou Yongkang and others will be eliminated.
According to the Chinese Communist Party’s official media, Zhou Yongkang once governed millions of public security, security, judicial, courts, and procuratorates in China. During his time in power, a large number of corruption phenomena and cases in the public security judicial system were all related to Zhou Yongkang’s large-scale corruption transactions.
Independent writer Zhuge Mingyang stated that China‘s legal system was completely destroyed, and it was precisely from this that the persecution of Falun Gong began.
In July 1999, the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party Jiang Zemin initiated an illegal persecution of Falun Gong faith groups. And Zhou Yongkang has been trying his best to cooperate with Jiang Zemin’s instructions. During his tenure in the Political and Legal Committee, through the Political and Legal Committee and the “610” Office (a full-time institution that persecutes Falun Gong, the supervisor is usually the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Communist Party of China). Of persecution.
According to the statistics of the International Organization for Tracing the Persecution of Falun Gong, from December 9, 2004 to July 1, 2021, the Tracing International released a list of 14 batches of units and individuals responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong, with a total of 26,843 units responsible for the investigation. , 91,893 persons in charge. Among them, there are 11,737 people in the “610” system and 16,106 people in the Politics and Law Commission system.
Senior current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan said in an interview with The Epoch Times recently that the purge of officials in the political and legal system of the Chinese Communist Party is in response to the saying that evil is repaid in the past. “They are selling their lives for the CCP and helping the CCP do evil. In particular, the grassroots political and legal officials are almost the backbone of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, human rights defenders, and dissidents. Once international and domestic sanctions and opposition become louder, the CCP immediately regards them as the culprits. Introduce the crime of topping off. The CCP system is a meat grinder. Anyone who falls into it will be a victim sooner or later, and no one will be an exception.”@
