The Central Meteorological Observatory has announced that a yellow warning for severe convective weather will continue to be in effect starting at 18:00 on April 21. The warning is expected to impact several regions from 20:00 on April 21 to 20:00 on April 22.

Areas that are expected to experience severe weather include southeastern Guangxi and offshore waters, eastern and southern Guangdong and offshore waters, southeastern Fujian and offshore waters, as well as some areas in southern Hebei, northern Shandong, and other places. These regions may encounter thunderstorm winds or hail ranging from level 8 to 10. Specifically, some areas in southeastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangxi, and other places could experience thunderstorm winds above level 10, with local winds reaching level 11 or above.

Additionally, areas in southern Zhejiang, Fujian, western and southeastern Guangxi, Guangdong, and northeastern Hainan Island may experience short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall exceeding 20 mm. In certain areas, such as southeastern Guangxi, southwestern and eastern Guangxi, and southern Fujian, the maximum hourly rainfall could exceed 50 mm and locally surpass 80 mm.
