Cuba Resumes In-Person Consular Services in the United States

The Consular Office of Cuba in the United States has announced the resumption of in-person consular services starting March 4 of this year. According to information note No. 1/2024, published on the Cuban Foreign Ministry website, the office will be open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The announcement also stated that the usual channels for requesting consular services through postal mail and contracted agencies will still be available. Citizens are reminded to verify that they meet the requirements for each procedure before visiting the consulate.

This news comes as a relief for Cuban citizens living in the United States who may have faced difficulties accessing consular services during the pandemic. The resumption of in-person services will make it easier for individuals to handle important documentation and processes related to their Cuban citizenship.

For more information and updates, individuals can visit the Cuban Foreign Ministry website or contact the Consular Office directly. (With information from Workers)
