According to reports, the Sanya Submarine Data Center Project,It is the country’s first commercial submarine data center demonstration project. IT Home understands that the project is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya and will be completed in three phases. The first phase will deploy 5-6 data bays and the construction of shore stations in 2022, and the second phase will build 45 data from 2022 to 2024. In the third phase, 50 data cabins will be constructed from 2024 to 2025. With the demand for data flow, the data cabin can also be replicated and promoted on a large scale to meet future data flow needs.
The use of the sea by the submarine data center is not exclusive. The sea area deployed can not only contain ecological projects such as marine ranches and fishery cages, but also can serve each other with industrial projects such as offshore wind power and offshore oil platforms.
