The lawyers Lazzari and Pastore: “We are the second judicial pole in Piedmont” For the Ivrea lawyers, a possibility of professional growth and comparison

After an intense and virtuous path of work for the world of the Ivrea lawyer, the big day is about to strike: Friday 15 May the “Elena Vassallo” Civil Chamber of Ivrea will be officially born. The Court of Ivrea, the second in Piedmont, did not have one. The Civil Chamber has as its objective the training of lawyers and the deepening of civil law in order to provide the client with the best possible protection.
“It is essential that the lawyer interacts with the territory by working in the social field (for example by collaborating with the secondary schools of the territory to spread an education in civil law) and trying to attract higher education courses, preparation at the state examination and in-depth study of the historical legal culture ”say the lawyers Danilo Pastore, who will have the number one card and Andrea Lazzari, historical promoters of the project.
“It is fundamental – they explain – to create a close interaction with every part of the circumscription so that civil lawyers enrolled in the Court of Ivrea feel at home regardless of their geographical origin: the association, by statute, will include colleagues enrolled in other courts that have causes in the jurisdiction of the Court of Ivrea ».
With the help of the scientific commission (mainly composed of university professors) and the thematic commissions, we will also work on the organization of conferences, round tables and in-depth studies to improve the preparation of lawyers which – as the code of ethics requires, must be continuous and updated .
Lastly, the association aims at a practical involvement of all members both in the social organization and in the study of civil matters.
«In summary – say Pastore and Lazzari – the association has as its objectives the promotion of initiatives aimed at achieving a better functioning of justice, with particular regard to civil justice; the strengthening in society of the awareness of the role of the defender in the civil and out-of-court proceedings, for the protection of citizens’ rights; the strengthening of the role of the legal profession as a whole, in particular of the civil one, as guarantor of the implementation of fundamental rights and as the first and irreplaceable actor in the knowledge of the law and in the dissemination of the culture of legality; forensic updating and training, as well as the cultural growth of the profession in order to guarantee the constant effectiveness of the role of the civil lawyer and to increase his prestige; the representation of the requests of civil lawyers and members of the civil chamber in relations with the institutional bodies of the lawyer, representatives of public authorities, the judiciary, other legal associations; the function of giving voice to the citizens’ requests for justice in the field of law and civil trial ”. And they conclude “We are also confident to be able to organize shortly, also using the new internet communication technologies, study meetings by inviting civil law specialists and to be an opportunity for meeting and socialization between colleagues, to be able to share experiences and reflections on our profession and recover that relationship of connection that the health emergency of this last year has partially prevented ».
The appointment is for Friday 7 May from 3 pm on the Zoom platform. Minister Marta Cartabia has also been invited. –
