The dream of Valerio, Down’s hero promoted to honorary policeman

He saved a little girl by diving into the sea in Sabaudia. He is a Paralympic athlete, he swims at a competitive level. He is a scout leader. He works in a company that sells clean energy. He dances Afro-Caribbean music, is passionate about zumba. He is Standard Bearer of the Republic and – from today – also an honorary policeman. Valerio is all these things together and many others: he is “quicksilver”, says his father.
