Arriving near a dead end, almost out of time, the tax and competition reforms, crucial stages in the PNRR route, seem really ready to take off, respectively, in the Chamber and the Senate. Next week, after the first agreements reached between the government and the majority, for both proxies we should get into the heart of the voting, even if more than one open question remains on the table. And again next week, the latest Aid decree should also arrive in Parliament, which is still in the assembly room at the Ministry of Economy where efforts are being made to close the circle of covers put to the test by the extension of the bonus audience. from 200 euros also to holders of citizenship income, to “seasonal workers” and to domestic workers. A coincidence that can only be considered partly coincidental.
One-off for 30 million citizens
The sudden decision taken on 2 May by Mario Draghi to double the original scope of the Dl Aid from 7 to 14 billion, paving the way for a one-off allowance for about 30 million workers and retirees, cannot fail to have facilitated mediation on the fiscal delegation, which now seemed mired in the quicksand of the constant postponements for the arrival in the Chamber, and also on the annual law on competition. And the result of these attempts could further condition the path of the reforms linked to the NRP. The Dems also claim to have checked the priority lane for low incomes in the agreement on the tax authorities, which sees the Lega and also Fi claim as their success the setting aside of the idea of also attributing a new asset value to properties.
