The relevant person in charge introduced that the “Shanghai” China-Europe train will adopt a market-oriented, professional and international operation mode. It currently runs once a week. The frequency will be gradually increased in the future. This train will become a German and even European product going to China. In the future, new trains will be opened to Slovakia, Russia and other countries.
According to data from Eurasian Railway Logistics Joint Stock Company, the goods sent to Europe from China three years ago were mainly electronic products, machinery products and auto parts, accounting for 80%.
In the first half of this year, these three types of commodities accounted for about 40% of the total cargo transportation volume. The transportation volume of chemical products such as plastics, rubber and glass has grown rapidly, and the transportation volume of medical and health products has also shown a growth momentum, with more diversified commodities.
