by admin

Blocked by the police, he had already been expelled from Italy after a conviction for robbery

A 20-year-old, considered a “prominent member” of the baby gang that has raged in the center of Turin in recent months, was arrested by the police. It is an Italian-Moroccan, residing in the Canavese area, accused of two robberies for which he now risks up to twenty years in prison. During the investigations, coordinated by the prosecutor Paolo Scafi, searches were carried out and cell phones and computers were seized. The gang, which for months has been attacking and robbing peers in the center of Turin, especially in the university area, celebrated the shots with photos and stories on Instagram.

The 20-year-old had already been reported for robbery at the beginning of last year and had been reached by a street sheet. Arrested for resistance on 31 October in via Sant’Ottavio, in front of a fast food restaurant, after some teenagers had been attacked and threatened. When the cars arrived, the gang surrounded them and the leader of the group refused to be identified and tried to grab an agent’s gun. Robberies were also recorded between November and December and, according to investigators, would be attributable to the baby gang that called itself ‘La gang via Sant’Ottavio
