The State Administration of Cultural Heritage, in conjunction with relevant ministries and commissions, has gone through tortuous recourse actions to facilitate the return of the Buddha to the motherland. Since the beginning of this year, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, together with relevant parties in Shanxi, has promoted various tasks such as site selection for the Buddha’s head exhibition, safety and environmental renovation, and exhibition planning and production, so as to create conditions for the Buddha’s head to return to his original place.
