The Italian horizon of photography (Photo)

A widespread exhibition on young talents of photography that does not take place in one place but began last December and will last until June 2022 in Italian cultural institutes around the world. This is the main idea of Eyes on tomorrow, a project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi.

The artists were chosen through the open call Young Italian Photography, promoted precisely by the Emilian city. Thirty-nine authors ended up in the final selection, who return the heterogeneity of the artistic researches that have been carried out in Italy in recent years.

The exhibitions are designed in a thematic way to compare artists who have worked on common topics. For example, until 31 January in Mexico City the project focuses on two thematic nuclei, power and roots, while in Montevideo, Uruguay, until 28 February the focus is on youth. The other cities involved are New Delhi, Addis Ababa, Algiers, Barcelona, ​​Dublin, Valletta, Melbourne, Munich and Moscow.
