In Minnesota, in the United States, a neo-pagan group called Asatru folk assembly has opened a church reserved for people with “Northern European origins”. To be admitted to the celebrations, in addition to worshiping Nordic and pre-Christian divinities, one must therefore be white. The organization claims that it only wants to preserve the roots of its followers and appeals to freedom of worship, but many of them are close to racist and supremacist groups.
