It will take 10 million euros and 450 days of work
The cost of the most recent project to complete the passenger terminal of the Corrado Gex regional airport is estimated at 10 million euros. The sum refers to the executive planning that the regional government approved today during an extraordinary session. The deed concerns the completion of the terminal, the parking and the roads connected to the airport.
Last May the regional council approved the restart of the process. “With today’s approval we can start the subsequent completion of the work, whose works have been interrupted since January 2013”, highlights the commissioner for public works, Carlo Marzi.
Once the intervention is completed – 450 days will be needed according to current forecasts – the structure will have “adequate space for institutional activities and general aviation operators, favoring the increase in civil protection and helicopter rescue activities, but also business flights, sailing and motor tourism and practice with drones ».
