It will be called Acciaierie d’Italia Holding the new steel company born yesterday with the finalization of the agreement signed in December 2020 for public entry into Ilva. Invitalia, on behalf of the government, subscribed, with the capital grants assigned by the Mef, ordinary shares for an amount of 400 million, acquiring 40 per cent of the company and 50 per cent of the voting rights. The company will manage the Ilva di Taranto plants as tenant currently owned by the Extraordinary Administration, which it will take over in May 2022 with a further investment of 680 million. To this will be added the investment in plants which, according to the industrial plan, amounts to 4 billion.
