After sorting out, the procuratorial organs found that the drug crime cases handled showed the following characteristics:
First, the charges are relatively concentrated. Among the cases accepted in the three years, 1,282 persons were involved in smuggling, trafficking, transporting and manufacturing drugs, accounting for 84%; 145 persons were admitted for drug abuse, accounting for 9.5%; 100 persons were involved in illegal possession of drugs and other crimes, accounting for 6.5%. %.
Second, the number of cases is decreasing year by year. After years of continuous crackdown and governance, the number of drug-related crimes in this city has shown a downward trend year by year, with an average annual decline of more than 30%.
Third, the number of large-scale drug cases has decreased. In the past three years, the number of cases in which defendants were sentenced to 15 years or more in prison dropped by 8%.
Fourth, the number of traditional drug cases decreased and the number of new drug cases increased. In the past three years, the number of traditional drug crimes such as heroin and methamphetamine has dropped by 26.3%, and the number of new drug crimes such as narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances has increased by 26.3%.
Fifth, the number of face-to-face deliveries decreased and the number of express deliveries increased. Over the three years, the number of people who delivered drugs in person fell by 21.3%, and the number of people who delivered drugs by courier increased by 21.3%.
Sixth, criminals have the characteristics of “three highs and one low”.
