Four Ecuadorian athletes have secured their participation in the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, after establishing the marks that sealed their passport to the competition. Kiara Rodríguez, Poleth Mendes, Jimmy Caicedo and Estefany López will wear the tricolor to represent Ecuador.

At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, Ecuador was strong with the performances of Poleth Mendes and Anaís Mendes, who won gold and bronze, respectively, in the F20 category shot put discipline. Kiara Rodríguez also left her effort on the track, obtaining the bronze medal in the T46 long jump. In addition, Ecuador obtained several Olympic diplomas in Tokyo 2020, with outstanding performances by Darwin Castro, Damián Carcelén, Anderson Colorado, Kiara Rodríguez and Roberto Chalá in various athletic disciplines.
