The president of Sampdoria, Massimo Ferrero, was arrested by the Guardia di Finanza as part of an investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Paola, in the Cosentino area, for corporate crimes and bankruptcy. According to what is learned, the Ligurian team is not involved in the investigations: the Sampdoria number one is challenged for the bankruptcy of several companies created in Calabria. Ferrero was arrested by the Fiamme Gialle in a hotel in Milan and taken to the San Vittore prison, while house arrest was ordered for five other people. There are also those arrested Giorgio and Vanessa Ferrero, respectively grandson and daughter of the patron of Sampdoria.
In total they are new the people involved in the investigation. Vanessa and Giorgio Ferrero are under house arrest; Giovanni Fanelli, 53, from Potenza; Aiello Del Gatto, from Torre Annunziata, 55 years old living in Acquappesa.
To these are added four other suspects, all residing in Rome and subjected to a search today. In addition to the Roman home of Ferrero, Finance has moved and in various regions including Lombardy, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata and Calabria itself.
