The principals on the green pass: ‘We are on the high seas’

by admin

The countdown for the reopening of the school has begun and a little more than fifteen days after the start of the bell, the headmaster’s alarm arrives. «We are on the high seas on the Green Pass issue. We are waiting for indications to understand how to proceed. But if schools have to check the certificates of teachers and staff every day, we risk starting at noon ». It is Mario Rusconi, president of the National Association of Headmasters of Rome to sound the alarm who adds: «It seems there is a tug of war between the Guarantor for privacy and the ministry – he adds – we hope a solution will soon be found. There are only a few days left, we cannot remain in this impasse ». Hence, the appeal that the managers of the school launch to Minister Bianchi: «The resumption of the school is approaching and the managers are still overloaded with responsibilities. We cannot be left alone ».

Green pass, what changes from September 1st: transport, school and university

Attilio Fratta, president of DirigentiScuola, at the end of the meeting held this morning with the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi relaunches: «The weight of responsibilities cannot weigh everything on the school staff. It would be necessary to support the local health authorities, the Inail doctors and the regional offices, so that the return to school can be done safely and without further chaos. Bianchi assured us of his personal commitment and that of the whole government ». Among the other issues brought to the attention by DirigentiScuola, the 1000 schools without a head teacher and the 376 locations still without assignment stand out. «These are historical problems of the school management, – Fratta declares – as well as the appointment of substitutes. Despite having pointed out all these issues a long time ago, with this morning’s discussion we obtained further meetings to address the problems one by one, to be held after the resolution of the most urgent issues related to school resumption ». DirigentiScuola was the first union to sound the alarm on the return: “Let’s give credit to the minister – concludes President Fratta – but let’s not let our guard down”.
