TREVISO. The deputy public prosecutor, Massimo Zampicinini, will leave the functions of public prosecutor of the Treviso Public Prosecutor’s Office for those of Judge of the Regional Administrative Court. A significant loss for the brand, in terms of quality, but also in terms of numbers. The court will no longer be able to count on another magistrate and, in view of the resumption of activity, the organic plant is still reduced, already to the minimum terms, as has not failed to point out, even recently, the acting officer, Massimo De Bortoli. The newly appointed chief prosecutor, Marco Martani, is expected to arrive in the autumn, but for now it does not seem that the appointment resolution is on record.
In the meantime, however, Zampicinini goes to a new post, which is why he is closing all the files and inquiries he has carried out over the years. The last, just to name one recently, that of the Pam bomber of Treviso. A curriculum not just that of the magistrate: in 2010 the degree in law in Verona, in 2012 the diploma of specialization for the legal professions and the year after the qualification as a lawyer, practiced for a couple of years, between 2014 and 2015. Just in that year, Zampicinini passed the competition for the judiciary and the following year he became ordinary magistrate. In 2016 he chose to become Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic of Viale Giuseppe Verdi in Treviso, a position he has held since 2017.
“Despite the satisfying activity carried out in the service of the State as a public prosecutor, I decided to question myself, following a dream I had in the drawer, and thus participate in the competition for Tar referendum announced in August August 2019” explains the Public minister. After the writing, in July, the oral exam was held, with maximum marks and marks obtained. Zampicinini is therefore among the 36 new winners of the competition.
“I leave the ordinary judiciary and in particular the functions of public prosecutor with the hope of having rendered a good service to the Treviso community and with the awareness that the change of functions will allow me to continue serving the State, albeit in a territorial district major »he adds. The magistrate does not yet know the future seat, but surely, if he was not destined in the first instance to the Tar of Venice, where he aspires to go, he will take Veneto into consideration for future transfers. It could be sent to Brescia first, and to the lagoon city in a year and a half, when the possibility opens up. “I would consider it an honor to serve my region of birth.” The public prosecutor, satisfied with the winning of the competition, does not omit a personal note of thanks: “As I always say, my achievements are the result of three factors: my mother Daniela who has always believed in me, my father Lino who is an example of constancy and perseverance and my partner Paola who has infinite patience ».
