From Monday 12 April the province of Turin will pass into the orange zone like the rest of Piedmont, while for the province of Cuneo the measure will start from Wednesday 14 April, in light of the new decree that for the territories with an incidence exceeding 250 cases out of 100 thousand inhabitants provides for more restrictive measures until they fall below the alert threshold.
The confirmation came today during the meeting convened by the Region with the epidemiologists and experts of the Crisis Unit. The technical analysis of the epidemiological trend indicates that the incidence value, that is the number of infected people per 100 thousand inhabitants, has already fallen in these hours below the alert threshold of 250 cases in the province of Turin (at today’s survey 226.9) and the same with high probability will happen before Wednesday 14 April for the province of Cuneo (which currently has an incidence of 261.6).
From next week, therefore, the measures of the orange zone will be valid throughout Piedmont: starting from Monday in the provinces of Alessandria, Asti, Biella, Novara, Turin, Vercelli and Vco, and starting from Wednesday for the province of Cuneo, without prejudice to confirmation of the data that continue to be monitored daily. Schools will return regularly in attendance starting from Monday 12 April, 100% up to the eighth grade and 50% for high schools throughout Piedmont, with the exception of the province of Cuneo where – remaining the red zone – the school on Monday and Tuesday will be in attendance up to the first grade and in dad from the second grade up, to then conform to the rules of the orange zone from Wednesday, as in the rest of the regional territory (i.e. in presence up to the eighth grade and in dad at 50% for high schools ). The report has already been sent by the Region to the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.
