The cultural offer that winds along the Greenway brings trevigiani and tourists to immerse themselves in nature in a “slow” format
TREVISO. Open-air cinema, concerts, activities in the balance between sport and aggregation: the new “nightlife” runs along the banks of the Sile and is strictly “slow” format. It is not the time for deafening volumes and maxi gatherings but with the arrival of summer, of heat, the desire to spend evenings in the open air grows among the Treviso people.
In this way, the river dimension of the city and the hinterland is increasingly rediscovered. One project after another, the Sile, also thanks to the cycling attraction of the Greenway, is confirmed in times of pandemic as one of the ideal scenarios for returning to collective life, rediscovering the pleasure of a film under the stars, of a concert, of an aperitif with a DJ set.
The formula allows to cross cultural events and nature, going to recover the ancestral relationship of men with the waterways. The longest resurgence river in Europe has long attracted tourists and investments. For summer 2021, the best is yet to come.
Several initiatives have already thought of warming up the engines: from the animation in Prato Fiera of the three days promoted at the end of May, with meetings, cinema and shows, up to the Solstice concert which took place on Saturday 19 June at the hydroelectric plant. by Silea.
This weekend, the same place, is repeated with a series of events, promoted by the municipality of Silea, which are entitled “From dawn to dusk”. The day culminates at 9 pm with one of the 19 concerts scheduled until 25 July by Sile Jazz, a review launched in 2012 and now in its tenth edition this year.
Along via Alzaia the notes of the Ferdinando Romano Quintetto Totem will resound in the evening (2 euro Reservations: [email protected] and on the number 327 4610693). To anticipate the concert there will be many initiatives: the Veneto Nascosto association offers a series of workshops on environmental issues, scientific experiments for children and other fun activities with a river theme starting in the morning (reservations: [email protected]). A little further downstream, with “Discovering the Terre di Mezzo”, the small port of Casale sul Sile, which yesterday hosted the concert of the pianist Elia Cecino and the quartet Dafne, comes alive with the second day of the open tourist weekend which includes tour by taxi boat, and houseboat, bicycle and canoe rental (information at 3474054879).
Another appointment scheduled is that of next week’s weekend: on Friday and Saturday, respectively 2 and 3 July, there are the white nights with the marina that comes alive with stalls, open shops, streets closed to traffic.
Returning to the capital to animate the Restera we think above all the aperitifs with DJ-sets scheduled at the Makkalè tavern and the circle closes again in Prato Fiera: last Thursday, the “cine circco” created in collaboration with “Cineforum Labirinto” started “.
Thursday 8 July, the great Sile view screen will project “Everything is illuminated”. The same date, the Sant’elena di Silea loop hosts the animated film “Wall-e”. Other essential points are the Nea tavern, with its aperitifs and the small port of Casier.
