The lights, river water, and coastal landscape are integrated… The North Canal light show has been held many times in the past two years and has become the city’s sub-center One of the most popular holiday scenes among the citizens.
The red-themed light show of the North Canal Bridge to be launched tonight will use 22 laser projectors on the 170-meter-long water screen of the North Canal Bridge to project the entire multimedia water screen show celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The light show combines key revolutionary relics and floats with red silk to show the glorious history of the Chinese Communist Party’s centuries of struggle through struggle historical sculptures, flags, monuments and other elements. The opening period is from June 28th to July 4th. The broadcast location is the North Canal Bridge. The broadcast time is 20:15, 20:45, and 21:15 every day, a total of 3 times, each with a duration of 8 minute.
It is worth mentioning that the 170-meter-long water curtain of the North Canal Bridge is the largest bridge body water curtain in the country so far. The light and shadow hit the wide water curtain and the scene is quite spectacular.
In recent years, the improvement of the water environment along the canal has been organically combined with the construction of the canal cultural corridor, and the night view of the canal has been reshaped. The Urban Management Committee of Tongzhou District implemented the lighting enhancement project for the landscape lighting along the canal, and reproduced the cultural history and era style of the Grand Canal in accordance with the concept of “reaching thousands of miles, transporting ancient and modern”.
The starting point of the landscape belt is the source of the Five Rivers and the ending point is Gantang Gate. It passes from north to south through Qikong Bridge, Qianhe Xielu Bridge, Dongguan Bridge, Yudai River Bridge, Yuntong Bridge, Luyang West Bridge, Luyang Bridge and North Canal Bridges and other bridges. The landscapes on both sides of the canal, the canal business district, the city’s sub-central administrative office area, the Grand Canal Forest Park, and the Urban Green Heart Forest Park together constitute the unique night tour brand of the Grand Canal. On this basis, the Urban Management Committee of Tongzhou District further consolidated the lighting effect of the “skyline” of the canal. The trees along the bank adopted ring lights, flood lights and tree star lights, wall washers were installed on the bridge body, and flood lights were installed on the bridge piers for lighting. .
With the full navigation of the Tongzhou section of the North Canal and the opening of night sailing in summer, citizens can not only walk and ride along the banks of the Grand Canal at night, but also take a cruise from upstream to downstream to see the night view of the canal.
