The Department appointed the Commissioner of the Health Area of the Crisis Unit to find medical personnel for the Canavese area among the other regional health companies
The representation of the mayors of the ASL / To4 chaired by the mayor of Ciriè met the councilor for health of the Piedmont Region, Luigi Genesio Icardi, and the vice-president of the Health Commission, the councilor Andrea Cane, to discuss the prospects of the ASL and its territorial health services.
The general management of the ASL was also present, in particular the critical issues relating to emergency and rescue measures were discussed: despite the “current and objective” difficulties, as defined by the regional health department, in finding the necessary resources to the functioning of the ER / Dea, Icardi reiterated its intention to reopen all the facilities as soon as the necessary professional resources are available.
With reference also to the difficulty of guaranteeing the complete provision of the emergency services of the first level Goddess of Chivasso, Ciriè and Ivrea, the councilor stressed that all possible measures have been taken to recruit the necessary personnel and that the councilor has instructed the Commissioner of the Health Area of the Crisis Unit-Dirmei to find, among the other regional health authorities, the medical staff necessary to guarantee the continuity of the service.
The commissioner Icardi also reassured “the maximum commitment of the Region and the ASL, to ensure the continuity of the operation of the hospital in Settimo Torinese and the construction of the new Ivrea and Canavese hospitals, for which they are expected by ‘autumn the first results of the study entrusted to Ires Piemonte ».
