OVEN OF ZOLDO. The research of Federico Lugato, 39, the hiker from Mestre who has been missing since 26 August in Val di Zoldo, in the Belluno Dolomites, resumed on Saturday morning, September 4, and will continue at least until Sunday.
About seventy people working in research, including Alpine Rescue, Guardia di Finanza, Fire Brigade, Civil Protection, and other private volunteers who responded to the appeals of his wife disseminated through social channels, and who were distributed on the areas entrusted to them by the Mobile Operations Coordination Center.
Up to now, the lower part of Val Prampera towards Forno di Zoldo, from Casera di Mezzodì towards the town and from above the Sora’l Sass Refuge have been beaten down. The drones flew over the rocks below the refuge and the Castel de Moschesin area, where the helicopter had also carried out patrols in recent days.
