LORENZAGO. The restoration works of the outdoor sanctuary dedicated to St. John Paul II have been completed which, since 2014, is an indelible trace of the presence of the Popes in Lorenzago and Cadore. In recent weeks, thanks to a private donation, it has been possible to renovate the roof of the altar which had been destroyed by the meteorological events of the past years and which now shines again in the center of the wood behind the villa of Mirabello, where the popes used to stay in their seven holidays at the foot of the Cridola.
