The Russian Federation threatens Lithuania with war because of the possible closure of Russian-language schools

Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and former head of Roscosmos Dmytro Rogozin stated in his Telegram channel that “it’s time to cut a corridor to the Kaliningrad region”. This is how the odious Russian politician reacted to proposals to abandon Russian-language schools in Lithuania, where the number of Ukrainian refugees has significantly decreased.

“It’s time to cut a corridor to the Kaliningrad region. Visas and other permits of foreign authorities are intolerable for the trips of our citizens from Russia to Russia,” — wrote Rogozin.

After that, he added to his post a link to an article by a propaganda portal about a discussion about proposals to close schools for the Russian minority in Lithuania.

In the public space of Lithuania, the debate about whether the schools of the Russian national minority should remain in the country and whether the Russian language can be the language of instruction in them has resumed. This happened after a couple of teenagers studying in one of these schools in Vilnius shot a classmate with an airsoft gun, delfi.lt writes.

Earlier, “FACTS” reported that Lithuania is extending the period of permission for tens of thousands of refugees from Ukraine to stay in the country.
