The Russian media authority intervenes on TikTok

Roskomnadzor, the Russian Federal Service for the supervision of communications, information technology and media has asked the social network TikTok, developed in China, not to spread “military content among children and adolescents. On TikTok, Roskomnadzor identified content on the subject of a special military operation in Ukraine, as well as related political content, intentionally offered to a children’s audience. At the same time, these materials in most cases have a pronounced anti-Russian character ”, reads the statement released through Telegram and reported by Meduza.
