[New Tang Dynasty News, August 28, 2021, Beijing time]The US intelligence community announced on August 27 that since President Biden ordered a 90-day investigation in May this year, the intelligence unit has investigated the Chinese Communist virus (Wuhan pneumonia, COVID-19) The source reached an “uncertain” assessment. The report stated that due to the CCP’s non-cooperation, investigators were unable to determine whether the virus was generated in nature or leaked by research institutes.

The intelligence community’s summary of the report stated: “The US Intelligence Circle (IC) assessed that the virus SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, may have been exposed to small-scale infections before November 2019, and in 2019. The first known cluster of cases appeared in Wuhan, China in December.”

“We judge that the virus was not developed as a biological weapon. Most agencies have no confidence that SARS-CoV-2 may be genetically modified (virus). In addition, two agencies believe that there is insufficient evidence to make any kind of assessment. The report also said that Chinese government officials may not have known before the virus broke out for the first time.

The report stated that to draw a clear conclusion on the source of the virus requires China (the CCP) to fully cooperate with the investigation.

“To make a conclusive assessment of the source of COVID-19, China’s cooperation is likely to be required. However, the Chinese (CCP) government is continuing to hinder global investigations, resist sharing information, and blame other countries, including the United States. These The move partly reflects the uncertainty of the Chinese (CCP) government over the possible results of the investigation, and its frustration for the international community to exert political pressure on it through this issue.”

According to the report, investigators disagreed on whether the virus spread from animals (such as bats) to humans or leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. They stated that all the institutions involved in the investigation believed that both theories were “reasonable.”

In response, Biden said in a statement on the 27th: “The key information about the origin of this epidemic exists in the People’s Republic of China. Members of the People’s Republic of China received this information. To this day, China (the CCP) still refuses to increase transparency and withhold information, even though the number of deaths from the epidemic continues to rise.”

“We need to get this information from China quickly,” Biden said. “The world deserves the answer. I won’t let it go until we get the answer.”

“The United States will continue to work with partners around the world to force the People’s Republic of China to fully share information, and to cooperate with the World Health Organization to conduct the second phase of an expert-led investigation of the origin of COVID-19 on the basis of evidence, including (requires Beijing) to provide All relevant data and evidence.”
