Three numbered floods occurred in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in 9 days from September 27 to October 5. Affected by the continuous inflow of water from the Weihe River and the north main stream of the Yellow River, the water level of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir continued to rise. On the 10th, the autumn floods in the Sunkou to Lijin section of the lower mainstream of the Yellow River and the tributary Fenhe Hejin section exceeded the warning flow. Unlike the severe autumn floods in the Yellow River and Haihe River basins, the Danjiangkou Reservoir’s first storage to the normal storage level of 170 meters means that the autumn floods on the Han River have basically passed safely.
