The comprehensive detection train performs dynamic detection on the smoothness, signals, communications and bridges of the entire Heruo railway line according to the three speed levels of 80 kilometers per hour, 100 kilometers and 120 kilometers per hour. The test data is collected and sorted by the professional instruments equipped on the train, and the acceptance results are obtained through analysis, which provides a scientific basis for the opening and operation.

It is understood that the Heruo Railway is a national key railway project with a total length of 825.476 kilometers, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and a total of 20 stations.which connects the Hotan area in the southern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Ruoqiang County in Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture.

The Taklimakan Desert is the second largest mobile desert in the world and is known as the “Sea of Death”.The Heruo Railway is located at the southern edge of the desert. It leads from the Hotan Station of the Southern Xinjiang Railway and passes through Hotan, Luopu, Celle and other places. Together with the existing Geku Railway, Kahe Railway and Southern Xinjiang Railway, it forms a railway around the Taklimakan Desert. The closed loop is another railway loop in Xinjiang following the formation of the northern Xinjiang railway loop in 2020.
