MILAN. Four twenty-year-olds were placed under house arrest by the Milan police on charges of attempted robbery and two assaults against some of their peers, the owner of a restaurant and his employees. In addition, searches ordered by the prosecutor Ciro Cascone at the Juvenile Court of Milan are underway against five minors, with clear records, belonging to the same group who allegedly acted jointly with the adults.
The investigative activity of the Milan Mobile Squad and the Sempione Commissariat, coordinated by the local public prosecutor’s office and the public prosecutor’s office at the Juvenile Court, made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the robberies, one consummated and another attempted, as well as of two different attacks that took place between the evening of 3 October 2020 and the early hours of the following day, in the center of Milan, to the detriment of victims just of age, met by chance and chosen for no apparent reason.
The group made up of about fifteen boys and girls, all identified, first met three peers in Largo Treves and two of them robbed the wallets of the victims; he then attacked the owner and employees of a restaurant in via Niccolini, while he was closing the restaurant, causing injuries to two of them. Subsequently, the same group attempted to rob an electric scooter from three peers they met by chance in Piazza Sempione and, finally, a few minutes later, again in the same square near the Arco della Pace, without any reason, they attacked five other peers. causing serious injuries to some of them.
The numerous reports of witnesses and the analysis of public video surveillance cameras and some commercial establishments in the area have allowed the policemen of the Mobile Squad and the Sempione Commissariat to reconstruct the movements of the group and film some of them precisely in the phases of the attacks. The subsequent investigative investigations, also developed through the analysis of social networks, allowed the identification of all the members of the group, mainly minors and clean records, all under investigation: some of them are being searched for further elements of feedback.
