They capture a woman who collected messages sent by the gang members of the Mariona Prison

Yesterday, June 7, a video circulated on the networks in which a woman appeared collecting messages that gang members threw from the windows of the Mariona Prison. However, that same day at night the woman was identified as Luz María Portales Chávez and captured.

“Understand that no one, absolutely no one, escapes justice,” said the head of Security, Gustavo Villatoro. According to authorities, the messages contained orders to commit crimes on behalf of the gang. Likewise, the gang members involved in the incident will be transferred to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT).

Similarly, the Order Maintenance Unit (UMO), together with personnel from Penitentiary Centers, carried out a review in the Mariona Penal Center, making sure that the gang members were not carrying any illicit object. Finally, they reported that the cells have been secured and the windows sealed.
