FAGAGNA. Still home burglaries in the province of Udine. Two hits were scored in Fagagna and also in the municipality of Pasian di Prato. It happened over the past weekend.
In a house in Fagagna, the thieves, who waited for the right moment, managed to break into a house after forcing, probably using a crowbar, a window frame. There was no one in the house. The owners had gone out on some errands.
Once inside, the criminals rummaged through the various rooms, turning everything upside down. The thieves were able to find cash and even family gold jewels and jewels of inestimable sentimental value. Then, having landed the blow, they fled undisturbed. Nobody saw anything. The loot, according to initial estimates, amounts to about 9 thousand euros.
Theft also in a house in Pasian di Prato, always on weekends. The criminals broke a lock on a window frame and entered the house. After rummaging everywhere they managed to take away a gold bracelet. The carabinieri intervened on the spot and are carrying out investigations to trace the perpetrators of the theft.
The police, who have further intensified checks throughout the territory, invite citizens to exercise the utmost caution. Even when you leave the house for a few minutes, you must always close the windows and doors carefully. If there is an alarm system it is good to insert it.
