Student of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence, athlete of the Carabinieri and Florentia swimming, Restivo was the first blue to be vaccinated on January 10th.

In recent weeks Matteo has finished his studies with the last exam and in December he will discuss the degree on chronic inflammatory bowel diseases. Then? “Ophthalmology or cardiology,” he says, making it clear that the selections will be tough at the entrance test level.

But meanwhile, he continues to swim ten times a week. «In peace», he says … Because the goal is the European long course championships in August in Rome and above all the degree thesis, which Matteo had set aside a bit to concentrate on the Olympic Games.

Yesterday Restivo “posted” on social networks his photo of the third dose with the simple comment “3/3”. “The vaccine? I always think the same way: vaccination is now the only solution, I have full confidence in the scientific literature. Getting vaccinated is much safer than taking Covid, I prefer the remote or almost zero risks of the vaccine than the risks of the disease. We have all lost our freedom and those who are unlucky have also lost some loved ones. I have no doubt”.

As for the safety of the vaccine, the quasi-doctor Restivo states: “As with any drug that I do not know, I will inquire, in any case I would entrust myself to a doctor, to my family doctor”.
